The accident scene from the new SBS drama ’49 days’ is featured in
the news, what’s interesting is the large-scale of
operation involved to shoot this scene.
This accident is where actress Nam Gyu Ri’s character falls into coma
and it holds a critical turning point for the story development, it is
mentioned the filming took 20 hours and around 50 extras and 2 large
vehicles are involved in this 100 million won scene.
As PD Jo Young Gwang gives the cue sign, the scene starts with
vehicle collisions, follows by 3 big bangs, then wind-shield shatters,
actress Nam Gyu Ri rolls herself to the ground. In the cold weather as
chilly as minus 10 degrees, Nam Gyu Ri laid on the ground for 3 hours
to complete the scene.
