On Valentine Day Eve, JYJ’s Park Yoochun being selected as the most wanted to give chocolate as love confession celebrity.
A music website posted a poll, “Which celebrity do you want to
confess, using chocolate’ from February 1 to 9 where Park Yoochun earned
3569 of 7422 votes, chosen as number 1 with 48% of the votes. Upon the
choice of Park Yoochun, the participants stated, “Using chocolate
confession, it seems like Park Yoochun will happily accepted it.’
Lee Seung Gi is second in place with 40% of the votes. His commerable
hosting, excellent acting skill and his polite temperament (or aura)
have also captured many females’ hearts. The third in place will be

Recently there was rumor spreading about the potential casts of Yoon
Eun Hye and Park Yoochun to be the lead of KBS 2TV new drama ‘Maid’.
Regarding this issue, the drama official denied, “It’s groundless.”
The director of ‘Maid’ Hwang Ee-kyeong PD through phonecall with Star
News said, “There’s no evidence about Yoon Eun Hye and Park Yoochun as
the potential casts.” and “It’s groundless rumor.”
Hwang PD later continued, “It’s true we have considered whether Yoon
Eun Hye and Park Yoochun could be coupling together for the drama, but
in the end we think that the coupling is not possible.”

Respective agency of Yoon Eun Hye and Park Yoochun both also denied the issue about their artists to star ‘Maid’ drama.
Agency official of Yoon Eun Hye said, “It’s just simply untrue,”
while Park Yoochun’s agency official too, stated “It’s groundless
issue.” as he dismissed the rumor.
Meanwhile, ‘Maid’ is drama that unfolds romance developing between
the business man employer and his live-in maid, who also face off in a
battle over money.

"Sungkyunkwan Scandal" in KBS 2TV, he will be returning to acting with
in six months.Yoochun has been chosen as top candidate for lead male role for the upcoming drama in MBC this May with "Goodbye Miss Ripley".According to someone in the showbiz, "Micky
Yoochun is likely to be in this drama because he seems very interested
and has had a few meetings with the crew. I know them to be talking
about details about him coming on board".Another person revealed that, "It's
a matter of issue whether or not he will be imprinted as a top star
actor and not a singer, with the drama 'Goodbye Miss Ripley'".There are also rumors that Yoochun will be the lead actor for KBS 2TV drama "Housekeepers" due this May with Yoon Eun-hye.However, Yoochun's management denied it. The scandal lit a fire in the media and started a
wave of background searches and scandals, where everybody’s schooling
credentials went under extreme scrutiny at the time. She was
particularly a focus of attention because (before the scandal) hers was
considered a Cinderella story, a woman who had gone from nothing to
becoming a society A-lister. As it turns out, all you really need to be
Cinderella is an influential boyfriend and a fax machine.

They
both served time and became infamous, not only for their crimes, but
for setting off the media trend that fed off their story. You can see
why it took Korea by storm too. They weren’t Bonnie and Clyde; they
were supposed to be Cinderella and Prince Charming, only their
white-collar crime rattled the social hierarchy.

The drama isn’t a
direct true crime story, but apparently is inspired by the scandal.
How closely it resembles Shin Jeong-ah’s story remains to be seen, but
so far it’s a good hint as to where the main character, played by Lee
Da-hae, will go. Her character loses her family when she’s young, and
gets adopted into an unhappy home, which is just the beginning of her
unfortunate destiny. It probably speaks to the character’s motivation
for the ensuing schemes.

And NOW it makes sense why Kim Seung-woo (IRIS, Athena) and Kang Hye-jung (Flowers for My Life, Oldboy)
are attached. The ajusshi angle is making more sense, although who
knows how faithfully they’ll recreate the actual relationship between
Shin and Byeon. And apparently Kang Hye-jung really WILL get
all-about-eve’d by Lee Da-hae. Now it’s like I’M PSYCHIC.

I
don’t know how Micky Yoochun fits into all this, but I’ll bet he’s the
“real” love that gets caught in the middle of it all. That’d be my
guess, because I don’t foresee him being the Clyde to her Bonnie. Or am I
just under the impression that he’s his Sungkyunkwan
character, and that he’s a righteous stick-in-the-mud? (Albeit a cute
one, but you know, a rule follower.) Either he’s the first-love moral
center that keeps trying to bring her back from the brink, or he’s the
mark, as in the chaebol-prince-charming-diplomat-genius who gets duped
into falling for her, and nearly marries her without a pre-nup, ’cause
he’s all trusting like that.

Either way, the idea of using Lee Da-hae’s unlikeable public image to turn her into an anti-heroine? Is kind of BRILLIANT.

Goodbye Miss Ripley follows The Duo and premieres in May on MBC.

“SungKyunKwan Scandal” wrote “Congratulations, Scholar Sook Ja”, “Senior
Sohn, congratulations on the 400,000th post” and other comments.
The hit series, SBS’s “Secret Garden,” whose viewership ratings had
exceeded 30% this year, had approximately 44,000 comments on its message
board. But the popularity of Park Yoochun and the others, as well as
the passionate response is something worth considering as well. Although
“SungKyunKwan Scandal’s” ratings had stopped at an average of 12.8%
(AGB Nielsen), but the audience loyalty is higher among its followers as
compared to other dramas.

The audience, following the terms used in SungKyunKwan, address each
other according to hierarchy using “Scholar” and “Senior,” to create an
interesting atmosphere of “life at SungKyunKwan.” Although “SungKyunKwan
Scandal” had ended a long while ago, but in the “Love Room” of the
“SungKyunKwan Scandal” Message Board, you can still see the passion for
“SungKyunKwan Scandal.”
KBS Drama Executive Producer Lee Kang Hyun said, “ Of all the shows
produced by KBS last year, “SungKyunKwan Scandal” received the most
passionate response from the audience. “Baker King Tak Goo” and “The
Slave Hunters” received high viewership ratings, and were all successful
dramas.
Park Yoochun is scheduled to participate in the MBC Monday-Tuesday Mini Series “Goodbye Miss Ripley.”

JYJ’s Park Yoochun, together with actors Lee Da Hae and Kim Seung Woo have started a “Love Triangle” in “Goodbye Miss Ripley.”

Park Yoochun, Lee Da Hae and Kim Seung Woo are the three main characters for MBC’s new drama “Goodbye Miss Ripley.” “Goodbye Miss Ripley” is about a woman who faces a crisis from telling too many lies, and the two men who love her deeply, creating a story of the struggle and resolution among love and destruction.

Lee Da Hae plays the role of the woman who faces a crisis due to her own lies, Jang Miri, and exudes an unaffected charm. Jang Miri is a woman who is willing to put herself in a dangerous relationship to gain success.


Kim Seung Woo plays a character who was born into a poor family, but is focused on being No. 1, the unyielding Jang Myeong Hun. He is calm and sensible, and became a hotel manager. After Jang Myeong Hun falls in love with Jang Miri, he faces the danger of losing everything that he has worked so hard to gain so far.

Park Yoochun is part of the love triangle together with Kim Seung Woo and Lee Da Hae, and plays the role of Yutaka, the son of a famous Japanese resorts company CEO.
